This full right-arm tattoo was completed over five days and is inspired by the Reamker, the Khmer version of the Ramayana, one of Cambodia’s most important classical epics.
The composition portrays several significant moments and characters from the story:
Krong Reap and Neang Seda

Krong Reap abducts Neang Seda and takes her to the kingdom of Lanka, setting the stage for the great conflict and her eventual rescue.
Hanuman, the Powerful Monkey Warrior

Hanuman, the mighty monkey warrior blessed with extraordinary supernatural powers, plays a vital role in the mission to rescue Neang Seda from Krong Reap and the kingdom of Lanka.
Hanuman and Neang Machha

During his journey, Hanuman encounters Neang Machha, the beautiful mermaid. Their meeting develops into a memorable romantic episode within the Reamker story.
Lotus Flowers and Khmer Ornamentation

Lotus flowers are incorporated into the tattoo to symbolize beauty, purity, and gentleness. Traditional Angkor and Banteay Srei-inspired decorative patterns are also woven throughout the composition, adding movement, depth, and a distinctive Khmer artistic identity.
Together, these elements transform the entire arm into a visual narrative that celebrates the mythology, storytelling, and artistic heritage of Cambodia.
